Meet our Speaker Matt Williams

In 2011, Matt joined Premier Home Appraisals, marking the beginning of a journey defined by professionalism, dedication, and community involvement. Having attended Old Dominion University on a swimming scholarship and graduating from Pensacola State College, Matt brought with him a wealth of knowledge and a strong work ethic to the company.

Driven by a passion for real estate and a commitment to excellence, Matt obtained his Certified Residential Appraiser license in 2013, solidifying his expertise in the field. Since then, Premier Home Appraisals has flourished, and Matt proudly owns and operates Premier Home Appraisals – RHR, serving Richmond, Hampton Roads Peninsula, and Hampton Roads Southside offices. Through meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to accuracy, Premier Home Appraisals has earned a reputation for delivering reliable valuation services throughout the region.

A firm believer in the importance of nurturing talent, Matt has successfully trained three licensed appraisers, imparting his knowledge and expertise to the next generation of industry professionals.

Matt's dedication to excellence extends beyond the confines of the appraisal office. As a passionate advocate for community outreach, he devotes his time to teaching classes to local agents and mortgage companies, ensuring they are well-informed on current appraisal methodology. His involvement as a Board Member of the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce LEAD program underscores his commitment to driving economic growth and development in the region. In addition to his professional and community engagements, Matt is also a Vice President Board Member of the 757 Swim Team, a reflection of his lifelong dedication to the sport and his desire to support youth development and recreational activities within the community.

Matt, along with his beautiful wife and daughter, has called Virginia home since 2000, where they have immersed themselves in the vibrant local communities. As a family man and a business leader, Matt remains steadfast in his commitment to excellence, integrity, and community engagement, ensuring that Premier Home Appraisals – RHR continues to thrive as a beacon of excellence in the real estate industry.

Meet our Speaker Troy Kaster

Troy started his career in real estate appraisal in 2001 as an Appraiser Trainee, assisting with field inspections in the Washington, DC Metro Area. In 2002, he joined RHR Appraisals, where he gained the necessary experience and education to become a Certified Residential Appraiser. In2007, he founded Premier Home Appraisals. His greatest pride comes from mentoring Matt, who is also his brother-in-law.

Troy was born in Manassas, VA, and has lived in various locations in Northern Virginia, including Herndon, Warrenton, Manassas, Fairfax, Haymarket, and Lake Frederick. He holds a Degree in Fire Science from Northern Virginia Community College and served as a volunteer Firefighter/EMT for 15 years. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, trail running, participating in Spartan races, attending CAPS games, skiing, and spending time with his family in the mountains of Asheville, NC.
